Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress who has gained fame for her role in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in the film Tezaab in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapoor. She next appeared in the film Dil In which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Born into an Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance when she was a child. She began acting when she was an infant and was struggling for several years because the majority of her first films failed. She finally found success, and was one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. The actress took a hiatus from her profession following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. She was a key character in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. In addition, she has been recognized by the social sector.
